La Baguette in Revelstoke

Sad to see this place is declining the once good customer service is now just a fantasy. Covid restrictions flaunted openly by customers and staff.

Loved the place, even in covid times! They've set up a cool system. First visit only 1 waitress was wearing a mask and they were super grumpy but came back because the food was great. 2nd time, a few days later, they all wore masks and were super nice. I asked for gf options and they were good about it. No reactions

Love this place, second time here. Very cosy and rustic. Food is fantastic

The barista made us feel extremely unwelcome, upon entering the cafe on Friday morning around 9am. She starred us down most likely contemplating if we were properly socially distanced which we were as she soon after looked at our feet which were on designated markers. This followed with my wife asking for a bagel, to which she answer unapologetically "we don't have those", no alternative provided. Finally, to top it off after our order she shouted my name two times in a row in a rude/condescending /profane way, while laughing with her friend who was in the line up. I could almost careless, but the cherry on top was that she didn't even have the correct order ready , so while social distancing meant so much to her in the beginning I had to wait right at the front of the line up for her to pour us our second cup of coffee. Java was excellent, but then that's not on the barista as much as that is on the bean. Would not recommend.

This place has amazing breakfast lunch or dinner. Healthy and vegan options. Deserts and great coffee or espresso.

Absolutely delicious. Good gluten free options with terrific sandwiches. Coffee is decent but not as good as the sandwiches. Worth the detour into revelstoke.

The only downside to this place is how popular it is! Good food, good coffee, sandwiches to go, and great staff. Prices are very reasonable. Seating is a little limited, but cozy.

Great food. Order from the counter and they bring it to you. Some cool art for purchase. Nice fireplace to sit beside on those cold mornings.

Fabulous food. Great outside patio. Will definitely eat here again when coming through Revelstoke.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, amazing food quality and value

Order a Bagel and waited 20min before I asked the girl if it was on its way or something was wrong. She told me yes it's coming then 10min later I asked someone else and they messed up and gave my order to someone else, so she gave me a cold bagel that was sitting there for a long time.. not impressed. Also the coconut icecream was sour.. We are not going back for sure.

Didn't spot gluten free options but its curry wrap was so good that you could easily avoid eating the bread

If you are passing Revelstoke I highly recommend to stop for food and coffee. Currently they dont accept cash because of Covid-19 and indoor seating. Food is great and staff as well

Huge portions and fresh produce. the staff were incredibly kind and the kids loved it!

Greta baked goods and coffee. I stop by here every time im in town. They also have wonderful in house baked bread. Pricing is pretty normal for an upscale cafe. Brunch here was good, the bagel breakfast sandwiches are a great deal at around 5$.

Atmosphere is very aprés- ski. Large selection of craft beers, coffees and good menu selection. Gluten free beer and ciders, AMAZING house-made gluten free pizza crust.

Rugged-posh atmosphere. Beautiful food and treats. Gelato and sorbet by the scoop. Not enough seating for how busy it gets. A little pricey for the smaller serving sizes.

The wraps are awesome. Good coffee

Excellent cappuccino, vegan options, too. My wife had the maple crepe (photo), which she said tasted as good as it looked. Once you get inside (the most obvious doors are locked, the one that isn’t has a counterintuitive handle) you can’t go wrong.

Good breakfast sandwiches, vegetarian options, speedy service, room to sit outside on the patio.

Decent breakfast. Great coffee (flat white). Friendly staff. Outside seating does not have a view. Atmosphere was ruined by semi idling across the street.

One of those great places in ski towns. Great food, amazing atmosphere and exceptional service. Unique variety of tees with specialty mixes hand made on spot - for those who loves that extra bite they have great ginger with turmeric mixes. Didn’t even get to pastries but they looked really tasty.

So yummy. Had a bagel sandwich and a breakfast wrap. Both delicious

La Baguette was a disaster, stay clear of that place please! Completely messed up our order, we were unsure whether gluten free order was gluten free, got it delivered to go in a bag while I ordered it to stay. Horribly greasy pulled pork, soggy bun from the grease, didn't follow directions, soup tasted only like pepper... yuck

It's really an amazing bakery / delicious pastry including gluten free cupcake.

I was only in Revelstoke for a short visit but I went here a couple times. I love the atmosphere and the staff was really welcoming and helpful with suggestions for food to try.

Baked goods and coffee was decent. Front counter customer service was absolutely not.

An awesome option for a healthy and delicious snack on a road trip. If you’re driving on the trans Canada and take a quick detour past the fast food chains, you will surely be rewarded. Seems popular with the locals as well! I’ll be back :)

Phenomenal bagel, OK coffee, incinerated poutine: Most of the fries for the poutine were burnt on one side. Sent it back. Same issue with the 2nd one. I gave up. Totally unacceptable. If you must come here, stick to the bagels. Crispy on the outside, light and chewy on the inside.

Excellent bakery/café in the heart of Revels toke. The cafe latte was hot and milky, the croissant light and tasty! Would highly recommend stopping when passing through on your way to Vancouver!

A great find inside Revelstoke for a fast-casual meal. Enjoyed the pulled pork with purple cabbage and fresh OJ.

Delicious bread and high quality bagels with high quality ingredients. Highly recommended

Ordered Americano but got drip instead. Asked for cream sugar , only got cream. Didn’t offer us to warm up the butter croissant. Maybe just a bad luck day for us, we will try to come back again.

I really enjoyed my sandwich and cold brew from la baguette. The service was efficient and friendly. I would recommend this as the perfect lunch stop for a road trip.

Nice little establishment located downtown and close to some pretty cool ships. The ambiance was decent and food was also pretty good while the selection of different beers and drinks was good. We found the food to be good quality and very fairly priced. The service was mediocre. I would likely try this place again.

Amazing food and friendly service. Went to breakfast two days in a row it was so good. Would have returned a third time if we were staying another day. Had the Rosti Stack. Yum!

The food was terrible. & so were the drinks. The mango smoothie tasted heavily like turmeric. & the hot chocolate tasted like they melted a chocolate bar. WAY TO THICK, & chocolatey. We took two bites & a couple sips & than asked for a refund. Their response was “well I don’t get what’s wrong with it, no one complains about our food” ITS GROSS. The manager came out & said no to a refund. I have never been to a restaurant that refused a refund when there food was unsatisfactory. Also they asked for a tip when we ordered. Who does that? 😂

Service was unfriendly. The person working was rude and appeared to not want to be there. The food was good, however. The muffin was tasty and the ham in the croissant was delicious.

The perfect coffee shop! I had a delicious and creamy chai latte with oat milk, mocha sables and my absolutely favorite almond and Bailey truffle. Highly recommend! Big love!

The food was excellent but the services was so rude, not just to us but to the next 2 people who were waiting for their orders , one woman came to the window and said she was trying to order Gellato but could not find it on the menu. In stead of try to assist her or just ordering it for her she got sent back to her car with her 3 children to try and find it herself. Another woman was sent away because she did not know she had to pay by debit and she brought cash. Her order was $15.00 so she had to talk to people in line to see if she could give them her $20.00 and they use their bank card. The whole experience was sad and could have been handled with so much better. Why does the restaurant not take payment online with PayPal then they would not have to treat people so rude. Everyone is trying to get through the Pandemic and just being greeted like you are not the enemy would go a long way.

We were running Google Maps offline and stopped by just because of the name and the rating. No regrets! Will be stopping again next time we're in Revelstoke. Great beet burger, Bree L.T. and breakfast wrap!It was clean, we'll organized, socially distanced, and fast. One of the best COVID 19 setups for sure.Support them and stop by on your way through!

Most unhelpful staff... we drove from CALGARY because we heard such good stuff... why would you want to eat at a place that is SO INCREDIBLY RUDE??? We just wanted a tiramisu and they were not able to help out with that... they were more than 6 feet away but still wouldn't talk to us.... online hours are 8 am to 4 pm but at the store it is 8 am to 3 pm... so incredibly disappointed with this decision TO VISIT this store... I would give ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!Called them to see if they could do something for us since we drove all the way from Calgary.... answer was "whatever is on the website is on the website" ---- food might be okay but if the customer service is so BAD and HORRIBLE then how long will this place stay operational and running????Nothing updated on the website...... just so unhappy with this decision to drag myself and my family here so THIS!!!!!

First time in Revelstoke and this place was part of the reason I enjoyed my stay in this town. Had their BLT sandwich with egg and cheese. It was to die for. Strongly recommend.

Wonderful service , great food and they have expanded their patio to accommodate for COVID-19 restrictions.

When I call and ask about lactose alternatives, you tell me to go to your website. When you could have just said SOY which would have taken less words. And not wasted my data and time. Thanks for nothing

Enjoyed the food! But, one of the girl's there was overly icy with her greeting. So, it left me a sour taste in the first place. Especially if you work in the customer service industry. And I was hearing she wanted to get off early, cause she was tired. However, It was through my experience of having a cold greeting, hopefully they aren't with yours. That's why I gave 4 stars -- I just have to explain though, if I got there early I would have more choices, LOL. But the food and the coffee is delicious! Must try.
